Project Updates
Before entering the program I put in my essay that I’m very passionate about education and during my GLIK time, my capstone project is about active learning for Indonesian student. After finishing the program, I try to implement my capstone project. It was a very challenging situation when you try to introduce something new to the existing education system. Knowing the situation is very challenging for me to execute the program, I try to relook on my project and I decided to do a deeper research. During the process, at the end of 2019 I met other Indonesia alumni fellow from 2016 spring class (Kun), we discuss about our capstone project, turns out we have the same vision and we decided to blend our capstone together. In early 2020, Indonesia alumni who just got back from 2019 Fall Class (Desi) come along and decided to join us. Here we are now building our capstone together. Tambo is a simple and fun way for youthpreneur to build business in one platform. Currently we are testing our MVP and gain a lot of positive respond from our target market. Hopefully Tambo will grow and able to inspire and make an impact for Indonesia’s future youthpreneur.
Other than that, one of my dreams is to have a ‘global capstone’ project involving fellow leaders from other country. To make it happen, I started with developing a community for Indonesia’s Alumni (Fujitsu JAIMS Community Indonesia Alumni). The first initiative is “Leaders Talk Indonesia” an online multi countries leaders discussion about leadership, innovation and technology. After three editions, we decided to take it a little further by transform it in to an online festival called “International Leadership and Innovation Festival 2021: Reimagining Leadership and Innovation”. It’s an online multi countries festival, hosted by Fujitsu JAIMS Community Indonesia Alumni, and co hosted by other supporting countries, this year we collaborate with India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and United States. The festival itself will consists of discussion with leaders across countries, showcasing innovation project (capstone) result, engaging communities and other rising start up worldwide with portraying pillars: Leadership, Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship. With 3 Inspiring stage: Leaders Talk, Startup Waigaya and Community Connect. It will be streaming LIVE for 2 days (27-28 march 2021) from 9 countries with 30 speakers. Hopefully it can be an annual event, a stage to showcase to the world the innovation project result from GLIK program. I think the world’s needs to know this so that we can inspire the innovation for common good spirit to the next generation.
